In addition to the automation of ordering processes, WIstockIT® offers up-to-date overviews such as stock levels, order history or consumption analyses via an online portal. The tool thus enables the greatest possible transparency and cost savings.
Supporting, digital tools and services are increasing their relevance. They enable the user to work more time-efficiently on topics such as saw band selection with the WIKUS band selector or the online cutting data program ParaMaster® and to concentrate on the core process of machining. In this way, digital tools contribute to an increase in efficiency throughout production.
Well-founded training of machine operators is crucial for a successful production process. This is because their specialized knowledge and professional actions can make a decisive contribution to increasing efficiency in the sawing process.
Sustainability is currently more important than ever for companies. Cooperations between companies and suppliers are concluded in the global economic cycle under the prerequisite and criteria of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). WIKUS-Sägenfabrik Wilhelm H. Kullmann GmbH Co. KG is also committed to these issues and for example has successfully completed the EcoVadis rating and is currently preparing for certification according to DIN EN ISO 14001.
In regard to the draft law on corporate due diligence in supply chains, which has been in force in Germany since 2023, and the associated obligation to assume responsibility for the observance of human rights and environmental protection in the supply chain, a review of suppliers is becoming increasingly important. The effort is worthwhile: if the requirements are implemented correctly by networked companies, the number of disruptions in the supply chain is reduced - and costs are minimized through collaborative measures.
