We celebrate 25 years of WIKUS Saw
Together with customers, partners, and the entire team, WIKUS Saw Technology, Corp. in Addison, Illinois celebrated the company’s 25th anniversary.
Spangenberg, September 16th 2024: — An important step in the WIKUS success story is the internationalization that began in the 1970s. On August 27, 1999, Dr. Jörg H. Kullmann and his father Wilhelm Kullmann founded WIKUS Saw Technology, Corp. in Bensenville, Illinois. On 12 September 2024, the company celebrated its 25th anniversary together with customers and partners.
A look back in time
Since the foundation of WIKUS Saw in 1999, the dedicated team has successfully established itself on the American market and continually expanded its position. Thanks to a strategy optimally tailored to the market, the company can now look back on a quarter of a century of successful business activity.
Many employees have been with the company since the beginning and use their extensive sawing expertise to develop solutions for the manufacturing industry and provide customers with comprehensive advice on their projects. For 25 years, the local team has endeavored to further strengthen the WIKUS brand and greatly increase its market share.
Markus Lusch has been with WIKUS for 25 years and currently works as Chief Financial and Operating Officer of WIKUS Saw.

A special gift to mark an anniversary
On behalf of the shareholders of WIKUS, the Supervisory Board, the management of the WIKUS Group, and all WIKUS employees, Dr. Jörg H. Kullmann congratulated the colleagues at WIKUS Saw and presented them with a sculpture entitled “Together we are strong” specially created for the occasion by artist Kött-Gardner. “This sculpture, which is decorated with a circular band saw blade, symbolizes the unity in our family business and the commitment to WIKUS and sawing all over the world. May it find a worthy place in the Head Office and remind you all of this special moment every day,” says Kullmann.

The anniversary was duly celebrated with an Oktoberfest on the evening of the 25th anniversary celebrations.
Decentralization and internationalization are an integral part of the WIKUS sales strategy. After WIKUS IBERICA in Spain, WIKUS Saw was the second international subsidiary and still plays a central role in the global orientation of the company. WIKUS now has 10 subsidiaries in Sweden, France, Austria, Spain, and Italy as well as in the USA, Canada, Mexico, India, and China, thereby enabling it to respond perfectly to local differences in the markets.
