Spangenberg, December 2024: The WIKUS Group, headquartered in Spangenberg with 10 subsidiaries worldwide, remains focused on its proven technological leadership and committed to delivering excellent quality. The ongoing strategic realignment is focused specifically on sales.

“In addition to Jörg Utech (Finance) and Karsten Gutke (Technology), we are pleased to have the ideal candidate in Sven Koepchen, who has served as interim manager since July and as a permanent member of the Management Board since October. With many years of experience in the steel industry and an approachable personality, Sven Koepchen combines professional expertise with a modern management style that promotes cooperation and openness while holding teams accountable,” says Dr. Jörg Kullmann, Chair of the Supervisory Board of WIKUS.

In order structurally reinforce this change process, the Supervisory Board has unanimously appointed Sven Koepchen as Chair of the WIKUS Management Board, effective immediately.

Dr. Kullmann emphasizes: “The current management has realigned itself as a firmly united team with a clear understanding of how to achieve our goals. With this decision, we are creating more clarity in the implementation of these goals, both internally and externally.”
