Spangenberg, 17 March 2020: Together with our subsidiaries around the world we are closely following and monitoring the spread of the COVID-19 and its worldwide consequences.
For many of our employees, business travel, meetings and encounters with partner companies, and their employees is part of their daily routine.
As of a few weeks ago we have halted travel to reduce the physical contact and ultimately to reduce the risk of exposure. A self-initiated quarantine when symptoms appear is understood and obvious, to minimize exposure for surrounding colleagues and partners. As our employees are the source of our strength and capital, we have intentionally implemented these measures.
Additionally, we have implemented solutions for the headquarters staff in Spangenberg, to be able to resume work effectively from remote locations.
The manufacturing departments have a fixed production plan that ensures, that even in these unprecedented times, we can deliver product in the accustomed lead times. Presently, the lead times remain unaffected and the confirmed delivery dates remain unchanged.
With this letter we want to inform you of our proactively implemented measures and additionally kindly ask for your understanding, for possible cancelations and/or rescheduling of planned activities/ meetings due to our travel restrictions.
Furthermore, we ask for your understanding, that all visitors at WIKUS Spangenberg need to pass a tempera-ture check as well as complete self-disclosure form.
All of the above mentioned measures are important blocks of our hygiene and behavioral measures guideline.
