The GENERO band saw blade consists of a hardened and tempered carrier material and welded high-speed steel (HSS). As a result, the teeth have a high degree of hardness and toughness that is otherwise primarily used in industrial metal cutting with a bimetal band saw blade.

The saw tooth is also resistant to wires that may have grown into the wood and which can lead to premature wear or tooth breakage in practice. Compared with traditional tool steel products, the bimetal band saw blade delivers a major boost in performance and extends blade life.
