First appearance of a WIKUS bimetal band saw blade at LIGNA

Spangenberg, 4 June 2025: LIGNA in Hanover is the world’s leading trade fair for the woodworking and wood processing industry.
WIKUS was also on site at this international industry meeting point, showcasing our bimetal band saw blade GENERO^®, developed specifically for wood processing applications.

Our sincere thanks go to GRUBE KG and Norwood Portable Sawmills, who demonstrated our WIKUS products live on their mobile sawmills by cutting hardwood and softwood at their booth. Visitors gained insights into the added value of GENERO^® and the advantages over conventional carbon steel band saw blades.

For our on-site team, the direct exchange with professionals and the opportunity to network within the wood processing community were especially valuable to further strengthen WIKUS’ position in the wood market.
